Monsterboard vroeg drie recruiters naar hun beweegredenen en ervaringen, waaronder Jacco Valkenburg van Recruit2.<br \/>\n<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u201cUit intern onderzoek van onder andere Philips USA blijkt dat werknemers die via een directe benadering geworven zijn uiteindelijk beter presteren in een bedrijf dan de gewone sollicitanten.\u201d Een verklaring heeft hij er ook wel voor: \u201cPassieve kandidaten denken vaak wel een paar keer na voordat ze die ene baan \u2013 waar ze het goed naar hun zin hebben \u2013 verruilen voor een ander avontuur. Terwijl actieve werkzoekenden vaak sneller geneigd zijn een baan te accepteren.
