Het stond binnen \u00e9\u00e9n week in de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.managementboek.nl\/boek\/9789081675642\/recruitment-via-sociale-media-jacco-valkenburg?affiliate=342\" target=\"_blank\">top 100 managementboeken<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h3>Waarom geschreven?<\/h3>\n<p>Het is geschreven uit enthousiasme voor het onderwerp, dat voor ons vakgebied heel belangrijk is geworden. Voor ons als professionals is er op dit gebied nog veel te ontdekken. In deze tijd is het ondenkbaar dat iemand niet op sociale media zit, zeker voor professionals. Volgens Jacco bieden sociale media kansen om effectief te werven. Zorgen ze daarnaast voor veel transparantie en is het een interessant en laagdrempelig middel om in contact te komen met de doelgroep, en de doelgroep met jou.<\/p>\n<p>Waar een paar jaar geleden sociale media zich in een rap tempo ontwikkelden, komen ze nu in een wat rustiger vaarwater. Facebook blijft voorlopig het grootste sociale netwerk en LinkedIn blijft de komende jaren ook nog wel bestaan. De concepten en tactieken die Jacco in zijn boek omschrijft zullen dan ook niet zo snel veranderen. De kracht van sociale media is dat zij het recruitmentproces kunnen ondersteunen. Wil je als werkgever en professional meedoen, dan moeten sociale media terugkomen in je recruitment-, wervings-, arbeidsmarktcommunicatie- of employer branding plan. Doe je dat niet dan laat je kansen liggen. Anders gezegd, dan zit je nog in de \u2018Klassiek reactieve fase\u2019 van recruitment. Sinds 1996 staat hij internationale organisatie succesvol bij in het verbeteren of uit handen nemen van het werving- en selectieproces. Dit door slim gebruik te maken van nieuwe technologie\u00ebn, arbeidsmarktcommunicatie en jarenlange expertise.<\/p>\n<p>Social media is een onderwerp waar Jacco Valkenburg enthousiast van wordt.
