Waarom is dat nodig?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Een interview met oa Jacco Valkenburg door dagblad Trouw:<\/p>\n<h2>Kansen op de arbeidsmarkt<\/h2>\n<section>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph\">Hebben jongeren die veel bijlessen hebben gevolgd uiteindelijk meer kansen op de arbeidsmarkt? \u201cAls die extra hulp iemand motiveert een diploma te halen, dan zijn de kansen op een goede baan simpelweg hoger\u201d, zegt recruiter Jacco Valkenburg. Hij wordt vaak ingehuurd door grote bedrijven als KPN, ING, en TomTom voor grootschalige werving voor vacatures waar moeilijk mensen voor te vinden zijn, het gaat vaak om IT\u2019ers. \u201cMaar er is bewijs dat een afgerond diploma, net als hoge cijferlijsten, geen goede voorspellers zijn voor succes later in een baan. Daarom is er een trend om niet of minder op een afgerond diploma en cijferlijsten te selecteren, maar enkel op intelligentie. De reden? Academische opleidingen zijn bij uitstek kunstmatige omgevingen en mensen die er slagen zijn geconditioneerd om succes te hebben in die omgeving.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section>\n<header class=\"article__section-title\">\n<h2 class=\"article__section-title__text heading-3\">Selectie<\/h2>\n<\/header>\n<p class=\"article__paragraph\">Valkenburg ziet dat steeds meer grote bedrijven starten met capaciteitentesten en assesments online. \u201cDat gebeurde vroeger ook, maar pas als de selectie al was gemaakt op basis van diploma\u2019s, cv\u2019s en gesprekken. Nu is het vaak andersom: sollicitanten maken eerst zo\u2019n test, de slimste en passendste gaat door in het selectieproces. Schifting op basis van cv\u2019s levert wellicht de beste sollicitant op, maar niet per se de beste kandidaat.
